Bridges have replaced most of the ferries, but this small fellow still runs carrying cars from on side of the ICW to the other south of Gerogetown, SC. He did not seem very busy.

We usually moved th boat from sun up to sun down. We have lots of pictures of sunrises and sunsets across the Carolina and Georgia marshes. It is hard to tell one from the next.

It was cold. The boat has no heat and was especially chilly in th morning. Adair is showing off her breakfat muffins. The oven warms the boat up.

Our next disaster occurred behind Cumberland Island, Ga. You can see the island behind the boat. We are stuck in the mouth of the Brickhall River for several hour until the tide again lifted us off.

We stopped in a marina in Titusville, FL where Julia and Josh drove over to take us out to dinner and bring us a new, larger dinghy. This manatee lives in salt water and is enjoying a drink of fresh water. It would be a hard up sailor who would mistake one of the beasts for a mermaid. Giving the manatees a drink carries a fine of $500.

Adair is touching a manatee in the marina. I don't know if the manatee thinks it is fun, but Adair thought it was a hoot.
